I recognized that our seniors need more than just nursing care at home they need a primary care provider that can come to the home to assess, diagnose, and order medications and other services. It is often hard for this population to get to a doctor's office, manage the forms and sit in a waiting room and this leads them to forego care. This resulted in our House Calls division. We send out NPs that specialize in geriatric medicine directly to the home to provide medical care to patients in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
EG PREP provides lectures designed to bridge the gap between the books and real practice for newly graduated Nurse Practitioners before they start their first clinical job or Nurse Practitioners who are returning to primary care who need a refresher.
